In October of 2012, 3 families came together in Bentonville, Arkansas, with a desire for nothing more than to live lives with purpose and to make a difference in the world for at-risk and orphaned children.
I went to Ecuador in May 2014. This trip allowed me to use my construction skills and I even had the opportunity to learn some Spanish. I can’t wait for the next opportunity to serve!
“I was going to postpone this trip until the following year, but felt that I should go ahead and commit to it now. I enjoyed using my electrical and construction skills while remodeling a house for orphans. I now have a new connection to Ecuador and its people, especially the children.”
“Ecuador was not my first mission trip, so I had a general idea of what would happen, but I did not know what my feelings would be toward the country and its people. The longer I stayed, the more I fell in love with the land, but it wasn’t until arriving home did I realize I had a love for the Ecuadorians. I went, because I had felt God calling me to go, and I knew I must be obedient. I found out they are a people hungry for truth, love and friendships.”
